25 years at the heart of fintech and payments
I spent the first part of my career building and scaling financial services businesses - from launching Ireland's first gift card in 2003 to establishing payment operations across the Middle East and Asia. I've led commercial functions, managed FCA-regulated businesses, and grown organisations through complex regulatory environments in Europe, the Gulf and across Asian markets.
Most recently, as Commercial Director at a VISA and Mastercard Principal Member, I led strategies that quadrupled transaction volumes and won the Irish Times Innovation Award in 2020. I was also a participant in the inaugural Central Bank of Ireland Innovation Sandbox, which reflects a close working engagement with Irish financial regulation.
Since 2024, I've turned my focus to board-level contribution. I currently serve as a Non-Executive Director on two boards, bringing operational depth and a direct understanding of what strategic decisions actually mean in practice.
